These are all words that have been used to describe Tapatak Oz. What makes Tapatak Oz so effective is that its creator Christine Denny has specialized in "how to teach tap" for the past 12 years. She has developed a unique and innovative style through years of practice that has a modern twist and focuses on rhythm, accent and technique.

Her unique and very successful approach to teaching has seen her invited to teach tap master-classes and adjudicate competitions not only all over Australia but also in the U.K. where she has been invited to choreograph graduation pieces for tertiary level students.

In 2003 Christine was invited by the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance (CSTD) in Queensland to give a seminar for teachers on "how to teach tap".

It is this experience and knowledge that allows Christine to teach effectively. Not only imparting these steps and rhythms to the students but also giving them the tools to be better tap dancers! With Tapatak Oz the focus is on having fun, focusing on the rhythms and dancing with passion - and Christine will share with you a few simple techniques to give you the 'sound' you want.
